Some weddings have a feeling you can't quite put your finger on — a warmth that fills every room and follows you home afterwards. Meg and Jules' wedding at Coombe Lodge near Bristol was exactly that kind of day.
Coombe Lodge is a beautiful venue tucked into the North Somerset countryside just outside Bristol, and it suited Meg and Jules perfectly — relaxed, characterful, and full of soul. Em & Woz were there from the early preparations through to the last dance, and from the very first moment it was clear this was a wedding shaped entirely by the people in it.
The details told the story beautifully. Meg wore a stunning Willowby gown with Charlotte Mills shoes, flowers were by The Rambling Rose, and the wedding cake was made by Harriet — Meg's youngest sister and maid of honour. Hair and makeup were by the brilliant Evie Smith. Jules' suit was by Gabucci of Bath.
But the moment that made this wedding truly unforgettable came in the evening. Rather than a band or a DJ, Meg and Jules handed the floor to their guests — and what followed was something we've never quite experienced before. Friends and family took turns to perform: different people, different songs, different styles, all of them pouring something of themselves into the celebration. It was joyful, moving, and completely unique. By the end of the night there wasn't a single person in that room who hadn't felt part of something special.

AHHHH!!!!
It’s not easy to put in to words what you’ve given us, but simply put, it’s beyond what we could ever have dreamed for. Thank you thank you thank you thank you! You couldn’t have put us more at ease, or have been more ever-present on our day. Truly, it’s like a window through to our favourite day, without the fogginess of our stress and anxiety. We are all so grateful for both of you, for being there practically from dawn till dusk, through to the beautiful edits we’ve just received. Seeing the whole day from start to finish from multiple angles, and seeing interactions between our loved ones that we didn’t get to see ourselves is pure magic. Our families are over the moon, and our friends will be too when we send them off with our thank yous.
We will be ranting and raving to anyone looking for the 2 loveliest, world-class photographers, and we will of course leave a glowing review anywhere you’d like.
